Team 1 Cause & Effect - Thinking, Sharing & Brainstorming - What do you do with an idea?

Reading the wonderfully written and illustrated book called - "What do you do with an idea?" This group gather around, to read and listen.

Hannah is in charge of sharing the book to her group. After this the group are to discuss what needs to be done to an idea in the brainstorming stage of creating and designing.

Whiteboard Creativity

Isabella had an idea of using simple tools to make her stop motion movie - just a whiteboard pen, a whiteboard, an iPad and bit of creativity. Check out her film.

Isabella uses her film skills and gets creative using a Stop Motion film app. She took 800 and something photos to get a 1 minute 26 seconds presentation. Tinō pai tō mahi Isabella - you've done a great job!

TEAM 4 - BAND

Jackson raps, Ollie is on the drums, Oliver plays on the keyboard and Aaron strums the acoustic guitar. Today they rehearsed some of their original composition called 'Rock bottom'.  It's great to see students write their own music.  Thanks to Mr Graff (our student teacher) who helped them get started.

For our IDENTITY theme the focus was on generating ideas today. What's your passion? What do you get stoked on? and What are the possibilities of what I can create, design, perform in my school and beyond?

Here we capture students brainstorming and recording thoughts and ideas.

Identity poses a few questions Who am I? What are my hobbies, values, interests, beliefs.....what do I bring or have to offer to create and innovate?
